Only a visitor not a resident. Hard to find staff, though they were pleasant when i did. Not much to offer non residents. Furnishings & public areas , quaint & beautiful. Quite a relaxing place to sit & chill.

A Masive thanks to Auther at the Chetwynde Hotel for looking after me when I was unable to complete my journey home from the Falklands last night because of the snow. I rang up, reserved a room, was upgraded and made to feel at home. I wad dead on my feet after a 20 hour flight followed by a 9 hour drive - So had a couple of pints followed wonderful nights sleep then a superb breakfast and back on the road again and got back home before dark. Thanks Again Rob

Lovely, quaint little bed and breakfast. What the room lacks, the charm and service makes up for. Having said that the room was comfortable and clean. Could use a little refresh and updating, especially the bathroom but for the price and convenience of being near my destination it didn’t bother me. Great breakfast menu with variety even for me as a vegetarian. Steve was helpful and courteous on breakfast duty.
